LEGO Cataclaws is coming to town

The LEGO Group’s newest holiday hero brings the gift of play

The holidays are meant for celebration and connection, but with so much hustle, it’s easy to lose sight of what really matters: spending time together. This year, the LEGO Group invites families to rediscover the true spirit of the season with the Quest to Save Christmas, a festive celebration filled with activities designed to bring people together in creative play.

At the heart of this holiday campaign is Cataclaws, the LEGO Group’s newest holiday hero, who teaches us that sometimes the best gifts aren’t the ones wrapped under the tree; they’re the memories we build together. While Cataclaws doesn’t deliver presents, it brings the superpower of play to life —   inspiring families to create, connect, and imagine in new ways.

“We’re shifting the focus this holiday season to giving families the gift of time and creativity,” said Justin Bautista, Sales and Marketing Manager at Ban Kee Trading, Inc. “With our ‘Gift the Superpower of Play’ initiative, we hope to inspire parents to set aside the holiday hustle and instead focus on creating memorable moments together through LEGO building,” he added.

Naughty or nice? Cataclaws knows how to spread holiday cheer

Cataclaws isn’t your average holiday icon. This furry, brick-built hero has put together a list of LEGO sets that’s perfect for every kind of builder, young and young-at-heart alike.

For young builders, sets like Young Simba the Lion King (43247) and Bouquet of Roses (10328) open doors to imaginative play and creative expression. If adventure is more your style, the Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance (42171) brings the excitement of racing right into your living room.

For fans of magic and fantasy, Hogwarts Castle and Grounds (76419) provides an enchanting escape into the world of Harry Potter, while the Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter (10327) transports sci-fi enthusiasts to the epic universe of Dune. For an unforgettable adventure, Millennium Falcon (75257) takes fans into a galaxy far, far away.

For adult fans, LEGO offers intricate builds that blend nostalgia and sophistication. Art lovers can recreate Hokusai – The Great Wave (31208) as a masterpiece in bricks, adding a touch of Japanese artistry to their decor. Car enthusiasts can celebrate racing history with the iconic McLaren MP4/4 & Ayrton Senna (10330).
