Sun Life Global Solutions (SLGS), a microcosm of the global insurance and asset management leader Sun Life, today announced that Nathalie Bernardo has been appointed as Vice President and Site Head for Sun Life Global Solutions (SLGS) Philippines. In this new role, Nathalie will be responsible for leading SLGS Philippines organization and furthering strategic imperatives. Her core responsibilities will include driving technology and digital solutions/outcomes for Asia and business operations and client care for Canada and the US.

With more than 20 years of experience, Nathalie comes with strong leadership credentials in IT solutioning, global delivery models, IT service management and customer service delivery. She has a proven track record in multi-function operations management, multi geography support, shared services, global delivery center management, customer engagement, and vendor management.

As I undertake this new journey, I look forward to driving SLGS Philippines in alignment with SLGS vision and SLGS Next Strategy. My primary focus will be enabling business growth and ensuring the delivery of top-quality services. During her tenure as Managing Director at Accenture Inc., Nathalie was responsible for driving business growth and delivering quality services. Her achievements included establishing the Philippines as a primary delivery location for Infrastructure and Cloud Services for the Japan market, ensuring seamless delivery during COVID-19 mobilization, and successfully merging Service Desk and Workplace into a new portfolio, among others. Nathalie’s previous roles at Coca-Cola Far East Ltd. and Hewlett-Packard Asia Pacific Ltd. also demonstrated her ability to excel in global program management, transformation activities and managing large teams. Nathalie’s academic qualifications are a testament to her craft and dedication. She has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management Engineering, a minor in Chemical Engineering from De La Salle University and earned an MBA from the De La Salle University Graduate School of Business.
