Shiny new cars and statuesque models are a staple at car shows. What does a well-known car brand do to switch things up a bit?
Free coffee, of course! But not just any ordinary coffee–a growing number of Filipino coffee lovers are gravitating towards the so-called third wave. Which is why Mitsubishi Motor Philippines brewed up a special exhibit as it parked an L300 configured as a fully functional coffee truck right smack in the middle of its corporate booth.
And did it work! Car and coffee lovers alike flocked to the Mitsubishi booth to gawk at the shiny new cars and to line up for a highly aromatic espresso or Americano.
Of course, MMPC had much more than potent brews on hand. Even more potent and stimulating were the Mitsubishi vehicles that highlighted the brand’s future as it takes pride in its legacy.
Showcased at the MMPC booth are its heritage cars, the iconic Pajero and the crowd favorite Lancer, the Strada AXCR, the Montero Sport fitted with outdoor accessories, the limited Xpander Cross 60th anniversary edition and the aforementioned L300 mobile café.
President and CEO Takeshi Hara, proudly shared MMPC’s accomplishments during his speech: “We recently hit more than 7,109 monthly retail sales, a record high for the company. We are humbled by your loyalty and support for our cars, and we thank you for helping us build such a strong foundation for our brand. We are also excited to share that since Mitsubishi started, it has sold more than 1.2 Million units and 800,000 of those were locally built here. Assembled by Filipinos for the Filipinos. MMPC is proud of what we, together with you–our customers, our employees and dealer partners, have accomplished so far. And we’re just getting started!”
