While you’re still waiting for our review of the ASUS ZenFone 3, what we’d like to show you first is how its camera performs in different conditions. We took the phone with us during last Sunday’s Zenvolution event and played around with it a bit inside Sofitel Philippine Plaza.
Some tips we can give you about the smartphone’s camera is it’s usual infinitely better to tinker around with the manual mode included in the camera. The images turn out infinitely better with a few tweaks. Don’t be afraid to play around with it. There are even a lot of settings to choose from. While we didn’t get into the super creative modes, what we did was try to capture images in as natural a way as possible. For example, if you want to document a personal event with just your phone.
Don’t really on the camera’s zoom, either. It’ll just be a pixelated mess. You can see it with the photo below of the new ZenFone 3 ambassadors (Jason Magbanua, Gab Valenciano, and Alodia Gosiengfiao). Just get as close to your subject as possible.
Low light is still going to be hit or miss. You’ll get a lot of serviceable shots but you’ll have to be patient. With an f/2.O aperture on the rear shooter, images definitely come out brighter if compared with a Huawei Mate 8 we had on had at the time.
