The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), in partnership with the Embassy of Sweden in Manila, is proud to announce the upcoming 2025 Transportation Forum, happening on September 11, 2025, at The Westin Manila, Ortigas Center.
With the theme “Connecting the Philippines: Sustainable Transport, Safer Lives,” the forum seeks to address urgent transport challenges driven by rapid urbanization, increasing demand, and the need to reduce carbon emissions. It aims to serve as a catalyst for collaboration between public and private sectors to modernize and future-proof the country’s transport system.
With a focus on safety, sustainability, and accessibility, the 2025 Transportation Forum seeks to foster dialogue and exchange best practices, leveraging technology and global expertise to create a more efficient, inclusive, and resilient transport ecosystem.
This year’s forum will highlight three key pillars of road transport transformation:
- Safer infrastructure – Strengthening road and rail safety policies, infrastructure development, and enforcement mechanisms to protect all road users.
- Smart & safer vehicles – Promoting the shift to cleaner, connected, and technology-driven mobility solutions that enhance safety and efficiency.
- Sustainable mass transport – Encouraging the adoption of low-carbon transport modes, electric vehicles (EVs), and investments in green transport infrastructure.
