The latest addition to Honor’s X-series, the Honor 8X has officially launched in the Philippines. Priced at P12,990, pre-registration of the phone is ongoing and will be available nationwide starting October 13. Here are some of the key features of the new Honor 8X:

For this feature, Honor utilizes advanced chip-on-film (COF) technology and a patented antenna design to narrow the width of the bottom border to 4.25mm and achieve 91 percent screen-to-body ratio.

2. 20MP AI camera and 16MP front camera

Honor 8X’s dual-camera can capture photos at resolutions up to 20-megapixel. AI multi-scene recognition can identify 22 different categories of objects in images and 500 scenarios in real-time. AI beauty effect can adjust and retouch images based on area segmentation. Eliminates handshake issues with long exposure photos and supports machine learning based multi-frame stabilization.

The 16-megapixel front camera has an enhanced ISO and supports 4-in-1 light fusion and multi-frame image processing to create quality and beautified selfies with bokeh effects.

3. Kirin 710 + GPU Turbo

The new Honor 8X is equipped with a 12nm Cortex-A73 generation-based SoC and a Mali G51 GPU. GPU Turbo boosts efficiency in graphics processing with full FPS and FPS stability for gaming, while still reducing power consumption.

4. 6.5” Honor FullView Display

Honor 8X has a 6.5-inch notch FullView Display, a 19.5:9 ratio in a 5.5-inch long and 7.8mm thick body.
