It probably wouldn’t have been a wise decision on Marvel’s part if they didn’t even think of releasing a sequel to the highly successful Black Panther movie. But now we get official word from the studio’s head honcho himself. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that the movie is happening.

“We absolutely will do that,” Feige said. But, as expected, he doesn’t reveal any plot secrets. We can expect it to mesh well with the first film as they’ve begun talking about it while working on the first movie.

“One of the favorite pastimes at Marvel Studios is sitting around on a part one and talking and dreaming about what we would do in a part two,” Feige said. “There have been plenty of those conversations as we were putting together the first Black Panther. We have ideas and a pretty solid direction on where we want to head with the second one.”

What would you want to see in the sequel?
