Nintendo is bringing one more game to the smartphone market and it’s one of their most popular titles. You might have heard of it. It’s called Mario Kart. Does that ring a bell? They’re not bringing the go-kart-style racing game directly to mobile but they are introducing a new title they’re calling Mario Kart Tour.

What is it going to be about? We can’t say yet. All we know is that it is coming within the next financial year and it might be a long wait since that can be anywhere between April 2018 and March 2019.

Fortune points out that Nintendo careful in wording the release of the game. They’re calling it a mobile-only release instead of saying which platform it’ll be available on. In the past, Nintendo has been releasing its mobile games on iOS before Android but this wording suggests both platforms might get it simultaneously.

Right now, the Japanese company has a handful of mobile games in its stable, including Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Fire Emblem Heroes, and the super popular Super Mario Run. There has been talk that Nintendo is also working on a Legend of Zelda mobile game but they haven’t officially confirmed this. For now, what we know is another Mario game is coming and we won’t be a surprise if it’s a hit (if they get the gameplay right, of course.) What do you think? Is this something you’d want to play?
