Bright might have been panned by critics but that isn’t stopping streaming service Netflix from greenlighting a sequel to the film. Will Smith and Joel Edgerton are coming back to reprised their roles. David Ayer will write and direct the second film, while Eric Newman and Bryan Unkeless will produce the film. Unfortunately, writer Max Landis won’t be returning. The streaming service teased the announcement through a faux orc audition for the sequel.

According to Netflix, Bright is considered its highest-viewed original film on the service during its launch. It’s also being considered by the service as one of its biggest originals to debut on the service. So if you haven’t seen it yet, you can still catch the movie on Netflix or check out this feature we have on the film.
